2013 MAY WEEK ONE LESSON

STUDY 20

READ THE WORD

Main Text: 2 Timothy 3:10-17

Memory Verse: 2 Tim. 3:17

Introduction

It is important to notice that the word of God alone has the potential to make us wise for salvation. Every kind of wisdom outside that of God will end up in foolishness. All wisdom other than the Word of God have weak basis. The Bible made it clear that the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men (I Cor. 1:25). Also the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Pro. 9:10). By feeding on God’s Word we will become mature Christians. As believers we have a hunger that can only be satisfied by God’s Word.
