Topic: Praise, A Powerful Weapon of
Warfare 2
Main Text: 2 Chronicles 20: 1-28
Memory Verse:Psalm 34:1
Introduction
The Christian life is a battle to some extent, but thanks be to
God, “the weapons of our warfare are powerful, they are mighty to the pulling
down of strongholds”-2 Cor. 10:3-5. We have learnt that Praise and worship is one
of the weapons in our warfare. When
Christians begin to offer praise to God it produces an aroma that arises into
the very throne of God. When we worship, we invite His presence into our
situation and circumstance.

Conclusion
Jehoshaphat, like us, was faced with very terrible situation. He
was afraid though, but he knew where to go for strength i.e. prayer. In his
prayers the Lord gave him the battle plan, through praises. It does not sound
proper to handle a physical war with praises but that was the direction of the
Lord. Certainly, Jehoshaphat had victory through praise. When Christians are
faced with challenging problems, we must remember, praise and worship is a
powerful tool for victory.
